With heavy hearts, the family announces that Helen passed away peacefully at the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Facility in Ottawa on Friday morning, May 22, 2026;

Helen Patricia Murphy of Ottawa, a proud native of Arnprior was 86 years of age.

Beloved mother of Michael and Christopher Chapman (Tracy). Much loved grandmother of Tyler, Ryan, Chelsea (Alex) and Carter.

Dear sister of Irene Campbell (late Brian).

Helen was predeceased by her 3 brothers: John Murphy (Bernice), Tom Murphy (Sheila) and Ed Murphy (Angela Havey).

Loved and remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Daughter of the late Ed and Irene (nee Kewley) Murphy.

Helen’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

Visitation will be held on Thursday morning, May 28^th from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

A Service in Memory of Helen will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock.

The service will be webcast live for those unable to attend. (Click Here)

A reception will follow.

Helen will then be laid to rest in the Kewley family plot in the Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior.

In memory of Helen, a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by her family.
