Kevin passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with his sister by his side on Monday morning, May 25, 2026 following a brief yet courageous battle with cancer. Kevin Roy Olmstead of Arnprior was only 67 years of age. Beloved son of the late Roy and Gayle (nee Lytle) Olmstead. Dear brother of Janice Armstrong and her husband, Len of Renfrew. Also survived by his nieces: Alicia Poole (Chris) and Kerry Holm (Ralph) as well his dear friends.

Kevin enjoyed the open road on his Harley. He was a member of the Old Bastards Vintage Bike Club, the American Contract Bridge League and an affiliate member of the Renfrew Legion.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Arnprior Hospital and particularly the Palliative Care team who provided Kevin with comfort and support throughout his journey.

Kevin’s private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.
