Where do I even start I am heart broken to hear about your passing. When I went up to visit you today and they told me and Dorian the news, I was shattered. I just talked to you on the phone 5 days before. Thank you for being such an amazing grandmother to me. Some of the best moments of my life were with you and Kyle on our fishing trips with Grampa. I love you with all my heart. I’ll never forget you, and all the amazing things you did for us. You will always be in my heart❤️ please hug Kyle and Ashley for me.

I worked with Elaine at Georges Vanier. She provided support for ELL learners. She loved a good laugh and was happy to share strategies to use with children who weren’t on her roster! That smile and twinkle in her eyes says it all!

Elaine was a kind and gentle soul who lit up a room with her presence. I remember her fondly from working with her at George’s Vanier school where she greeted everyone with her beautiful smile, and the biggest heart -truly an angel here on Earth. My condolences to her family as she rests with those she spoke so lovingly of in heaven.

I first met Elaine when she came to St Monica school as a speech and language teacher when I was in resource in the early 80s. Im not sure who had more fun; Elaine or the children she’d work with. She was always happy, knew how to make learning fun and so very dedicated! She loved those children. It was always a pleasure to work with her.
May her family take comfort in the love and wonderful memories she shared with you. My condolences ❤️

John, John Paul and the rest of the family.
I have nothing but fond memories of Elaine, her gentle caring ways, love of teaching and true compassion for children and what went on in their lives.
We spent many memorable outings together with our two families that will forever be fantastic memories of my childhood.
The times spent with John doing tasks with the Fire Department where I learned things that followed me into my firefighting and Paramedic careers.
Elaine’s ways of caring may have played a significant role in me marrying a ‘Redhead’…..Which turned out to be the best decision I ever made because my wife had traits much like Elaine’s .
Elaine and all of you are in our thoughts and Prayers and I know God has a special place in Heaven for Elaine !!!
