It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike, a beloved father, grandfather, family member, and friend. Mike passed away suddenly but very peacefully at home on Sunday, June 7, 2026. He was only 65 years young. Beloved and adored Dad of Katelyn Savard (Kyler) and Jesse Perreault (Hannah). Cherished and ever so proud Grandpa of Norah, Wyatt, Easton and soon to be Baby Girl Perreault. Dear brother of the late Christine Perreault, Nancy Brown (Doug), John (Tammy), Mark (Rhonda), Louise Derraugh (Doug) and Paul (Heather).

Mike will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, countless friends, acquaintances and many former clients.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, we are deeply grateful for the years, memories, and love we were fortunate enough to share with him.  Mike was a man who truly lived life to its fullest. He had an extraordinary ability to light up a room the moment he entered it. His smile, laughter, and larger-than-life presence brought warmth and joy wherever he went. People were naturally drawn to him, not only because of his charisma, but because of the kindness, sincerity, and generosity that radiated from him. To know Mike was to know love, to feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.  Above all else, Mike loved his family. They were the center of his world and his greatest source of pride and happiness. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, and his family will forever carry with them the countless memories, lessons, and unconditional love he shared so freely.  Mike was an admirable man whose actions spoke louder than words. He was dependable in every sense of the word. The kind of person you could call at any hour, knowing he would be there without hesitation. He would drop whatever he was doing to help someone in need and never expected anything in return. His selflessness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He gave so much of himself to others, often quietly and without recognition, simply because it was who he was.

Gifted with his hands and a remarkable work ethic, Mike could build almost anything. He approached every project with determination, skill, and pride. Whether creating, repairing, or lending his expertise to others, he found satisfaction in building things that would last. Yet perhaps his greatest achievement was not what he built with his hands, but what he built with his heart—strong relationships, lasting friendships, and a family grounded in love.  Some of Mike’s greatest passions were found on the water, where he felt most at peace in his boat. He loved traveling, exploring new places, and creating memories with those he loved. Music was another constant in his life, bringing him joy and serving as the soundtrack to so many cherished moments for him and many others.

Mike radiated life, love, and light. His impact on the people around him cannot be measured. He inspired others through his generosity, his strength of character, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. He taught those around him the value of hard work, kindness, loyalty, and putting others before yourself. Countless lives are better because Mike was a part of them, and the memories he created will continue to be shared for generations to come.  While his absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, his legacy lives on in the family he adored, the friendships he nurtured, and the many people whose lives were touched by his kindness and love.

He will be remembered not only for what he did, but for how he made people feel—supported, appreciated, and loved.  Mike will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten. His light continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Mike’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior where visitation will take place on Sunday, June 14^th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. only A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Braeside on Monday morning, June 15^th at 11 o’clock. A reception will follow.

In memory of Mike and in keeping with his love and support of others, a donation to the Arnprior Food Bank would be greatly appreciated by his family.
