Obituary of Phil Clost

With sadness, the family announces that Philip (formerly from Arnprior) passed away peacefully at the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Centre in Ottawa on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Philip was 87 years of age. Son of the late Norman and Lula, survived by two brothers and predeceased by eleven other siblings. Beloved husband of the late Carole Clost (Rooney) and the late Jeanette Clost (Craig). Dearly loved Dad of Sherry Lynn St.Germain (Danny), Philip Clost (Marlene) and predeceased by daughter Christine. Stepdad of Jeanne Warnock, Carrie Ann Hayes and Michael Craig.  Much loved Papa of Matthew, Timothy (Maria), Kaitlyn (Corey), Kyle, Jessica, Abigail, Rory, Christian and Wyatt. Great-Papa of Emmie and Owen. Dear brother-in-law of Brian Rooney (Linda).

The family wishes to acknowledge the Peter D. Clark Long Term Care facility for the amazing care provided to Phil over the past year.

Phil’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

A Celebreation of Phil's life will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 12th from 1-3 at Kenmore Community Hall, 3242 York's Corners Road, Osgoode.
