Kathy, I am sorry sorry to hear of Ken's passing. He was a very determined man during the time I met you both. My condolence's to his whole family. Ken was a friend in the purest form of the word. He was always there when needed, his home (and Kathy's also) was alwarys ready to enjoy company. Ken's friendship started for me when he was the organinzer of the craft shows at Westgate Shopping Centre. Over the years, there was great banter and lots of fun. I still keep a stale brownie around in case comes to vist! We had the pleasure of being his and Kathy's neighbour in their much loved Mobile Gardens in Englewood Florida. Somehow Ken convinced me to go kayaking, which I did enjoy very much. Ken had to always pluck me out of the Kayak with one very strong arm, otherwise I would be stuck in the kayak. THANK YOU KEN for your years of friendship, you will be missed by both Waive and I. We will always be grateful. Rest in Peace dear friend, you deserve your rest. Joanne and I have so many great memories with Kathy and Ken. We were neighbors for several years in Florida. Ken would call our 2 dogs over to give them a treat. Ken loved everyone's pets. We had lots of fun kayaking the intercostal waterways together. Some of the best times were going garage saleing together. We were also good customers of their leather craft business. Ken made us all kinds of marketing materials for our RV Park Snowbird Summer Haven. We also hosted a Laverty family get together at our home on White Lake to celebrate Canada Day. It was there that we were introduced to Jamieson's Irish Whiskey by Ken. Ken was always full of fun and he will be missed greatly. Joanne and Ken Laverty
