BASTIEN, Alexandra Isabel “Sandy”

(nee Gibson)

With heavy hearts the family announces that Sandy (Sam), passed away unexpectedly at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday evening, July 20, 2026.

She was 71.

Beloved wife and best friend of Frank for almost 53 years.

Loved and forever cherished Mother of Trisha Gaskin (Kevin).

Proud and loving grandma of Emma, Cooper, and Luke.

Dear sister of Ken Gibson (Sheila).

Sandy had a successful career as a public servant and she enjoyed her final 20 working years employed at the Town of Arnprior.  

Sandy was a lover of all music and was an avid musician and singer. 

She loved gardening and cherished her home in White Lake.

Sandy will be missed beyond words.

Sandy’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior

where visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 30^th from 1-2:30.

A brief Tribute to honour Sandy will commence at 2:30.
