Joseph Alexander “Joe” Brennan

(Commercial Sales Manager – M. Sullivan and Sons)

With profound sadness, the family announces that Joe passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew while surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday morning, August 4, 2026 following a brief illness. Joe turned 65 years of age on July 12^th. Beloved husband of Kelly (nee Oattes). Dearly loved Dad of Krista Brennan (Jordan Chevalier) and Chad Brennan (Justine). Cherished and forever proud Pops of Lucas, Maverick, Emery and Scotlyn. Much loved “little brother” of Debbie Brennan (Ken Riopelle) and uncle of Cory.  Special brother-in-law of Sue Oattes (late Steven) and uncle of Trevor (Sarah) and Matthew Oattes. Fondly remembered and cherished by the Sevigny, McNulty and Desjardins families. Son of the late Bill and Alene (nee Madore) Brennan.

Joe will also be missed by all his co-workers and contractors at Rona and M. Sullivan and Son where he dedicated many years.

Joe lived a life he was proud of. It showed through the way he “showed up” for everyone around him. He spent many years coaching his children in sports and continued to coach from the sidelines for his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

Final arrangements for Joe have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior where visitation will be held on Friday evening, August 7^th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday morning, August 8^th from 9:30 to 10:30. A Service in memory of Joe will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. The service will be webcast live for those unable to attend. (Click Here)
