Obituary of Vera Mary Findlay

(nee Delahunt)

Peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2023, Vera Mary Findlay passed away surrounded by her family. She was 94.

Beloved wife of the late Murray “M.J” Findlay (February 2, 1997). Much loved mother of Ann Hewitt (late Doug), Carol Lesway (late Mervin), Craig (Heather), and Toby (Laurie). Predeceased by a son, Lindsay (February 3, 2015). Cherished Grandma and Great-Grandma. Vera was the last surviving child of the late William and Sarah “Fanny” (nee Wilson) Delahunt. Predeceased by 4 brothers: Edgar (late Minolta), John (late Marjorie), Arthur (late Jane) and Gerald (late Velma). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North Arnprior. Friends are invited to a funeral service to be held in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday afternoon, September 30^th at 2 o’clock. A reception will follow.
