Obituary of Joyce Quintal

(nee Potvin)

With sadness, the family inform you that Joyce passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus on Thursday evening, September 28, 2023 following a brief yet courageous battle with cancer. Joyce Marion Quintal of Arnprior was 76 years of age.

Beloved wife of the late Richard Quintal (May 15, 2018). Dearly loved mother of Jeff Quintal and Dawn Findlay (Darren).

Cherished Grandmother of Allysha Quintal, Jordan Quintal, Darcy Findlay and Derrick Findlay and Great-Grandmother of Emmanuel. Dear sister of Frank (Ginette), late James (Lorraine), Eileen (Ken), Chris (Debbie), late Terry (Connie), Verne (Debbie), Danny, Tim, Randy (Meg) and Janet (Scott). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital; Drs. O’Shea and Tagouri and their team of the palliative care unit as well as the nursing staff at the Ottawa General.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where visitation will be held on Friday , October 6^th from 9:30 to 10:30

and where a service to honour and remember Joyce will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock.

Inurnment Albert Street Cemetery Columbarium, Arnprior.
