Obituary of Theresa Chamberlin-Poirier

(nee Paquette)

(Co-Owner Nutra-Fix Inc.)

In loving memory of Theresa who passed away peacefully during a sunset at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata while surrounded by loved ones and prayer on Friday evening, September 29, 2023. She was 62 years of age.

Beloved wife, partner and best friend of Roland Poirier.

Dearly loved mother of Jessica Chamberlin, Julia Chamberlin-Brown (Neville Brown) and Rolie Poirier (Courtney Falconer-Poirier). Cherished Nana of Jones Brown, Bella Brown, Deon Brown, Benjamin Poirier, a soon to be born granddaughter, Giana Juliette Brown and a yet to be born grandson.

Beloved daughter of Zita Paquette-Simpson (late Robert) and the late Edgar Paquette (1989).

Much loved sister of Shirley Staal (Harold), Brenda Brazeau (Ronald) and Catherine Fortin (Renald). Predeceased by a sister, Suzanne Kelly-Ruiter (Bert).

She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Theresa’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus.

She served as a worship leader, deacon, and church administrator. Her commitment to her spiritual journey was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She used the cross on her hand as an instrument to share the Gospel.

Beyond the walls of the church building, her compassion knew no bounds. Her heart was filled with love for the underprivileged at home, in Kenya, and Tanzania.

Music was another passion that filled her life with joy, whether she was gracefully playing the piano, or lifting her voice in song, she brought comfort to all who had the privilege of listening.

Her love extended to all creatures great and small. From her treasured horses, Alex and Eddie, to her precious puppies, Murphy and Gracie.

She poured her heart and soul into being a loving wife, cherished mother, and nurturing nana. She embodied each with great honor.

Theresa leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, creativity, and service that will forever be apart of everyone who knew her.

Theresa’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the
