Obituary of William "Bill" Kirby

Following a brief illness at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital on Sunday afternoon, November 12, 2023, Bill passed away at the age of 77.

 

Loved father of Tamara Dunfield (Cory), Cindy Boland (Jason) and Matthew Kirby. Dear grandfather of Brady Gauvreau, Emily Dunfield and Bella Kirby. Bill is survived by his only sister, Donna Louise Davidson as well as many extended family members and friends.

 

Bill spent over 30 years with Bell Canada before retiring and starting his own ‘Bill Telephone Company’, which he worked at for an additional 30 years. He was always very involved in the community throughout his life as a member of Community Policing, Civitan, the Lions and Optimist Clubs and as the founder of Pumpkin Patrol. Beyond that, Bill could often be found refereeing hockey or umpiring baseball. His kindness and generosity will be profoundly missed.

 

 

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
