Obituary of Laura Egan

(nee Bielawski)

 

Laura Egan of Arnprior passed away in Renfrew on Monday, November 13, 2023 just a couple weeks shy of her 91st birthday.

 

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Egan (2002). Treasured mother of Arthur “Art” (Marilyn Haima) and Joseph “Joey” (Jane Martin). Loving grandmother of Byron, Michael and Justin and great-grandmother of Austin and Ella. Dear sister of Gertrude Visneskie (late Stanley), Michael Bielawski (late Rita) and Raymond Bielawski (Caroline). Laura was predeceased by two sons; Peter (Carole) and Barry, three sisters; Julia Prince (late Tom), Theresa Prince (late Albert) and Geraldine Duggan (Jack) as well  as a brother, Ambrose (Irene). Daughter of the late Joseph and Bella (nee Mask) Bielawski. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Murielle Egan as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Laura’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will take place on Sunday afternoon, December 3rd from 2-4 and again on Monday morning from 9:30-10:15. Members of the Catholic Women's League will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Chrysostom Church in Arnprior., on Monday morning, December 4th at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. Reception to follow in the Pilon Family Reception Centre.
