(32 year loyal employee of Pillar 5, Arnprior)

With broken hearts, the family announces that Darlene passed away at Hospice Renfrew on Friday evening, February 9, 2024 following a brief illness; Darlene Gail Burnette of Arnprior was only 58 years of age.

Beloved daughter of Marie McCourt and the late Charlie McCourt. Dearest sister of Donna Godin (George) and Doreen McCourt.

Much loved aunt “Bug” of Shona Godin (Troy Riopelle), Brandi Christopherson (Chris), Lindsay Graham (Chad), August Love-McCourt, Ashlyn Love-McCourt and “Auntie Bug” of Hope Foster-Hunt, Joshua Godin, Taylor Christopherson, Callen Christopherson, Jaxson (Wee Man) Presley and Aubree Hipkin.

Special friend of Nancy Pell, Jason Prins and her roomie, Steve Dempsey. Also survived and fondly remembered by her former husband, Jeff Burnette.

Darlene loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Though her work was very important to her, she took greater pride in the friendships she made there.

Her love of gardening was evident wherever she lived. Above all else, her family meant everything to her.

Quality time spent with loved ones has left many with wonderful memories to help them through their loss.

She will be missed but never forgotten.
