Obituary of Robert "Bob" Barr

With heavy hearts, the family announces that their patriarch passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew with loved one by his side on Tuesday evening, February 13, 2024. Bob was in his 82^nd year. Beloved husband for almost 50 years of the late Betty Barr (nee McKeddie). Much loved Dad of Kerry Rebertz (Floyd) and Judy Raymond (Steve). Cherished and proud Grandpa of Katie Walker (Jon), Chad Rebertz (Kayla), Miranda Raymond (Dave Rodd) & Conor Raymond. Great grandfather of Elleri Walker and twins arriving June 2024 to parents Chad and Kayla. He will be sadly missed by his canine best friend, Meika. Dear brother of Helen Riskie (late Del). Predeceased by his only brother, Murray. Son of the late Earl & Iva (nee Robinson) Barr.

Bob never asked for much, family was everything to him. A man of many talents, he could build or fix almost anything. Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roofing… there was nothing he could not do. Always willing to help others and place their needs ahead of his own. He will be missed.

Bob’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior where a private visitation and tribute will be held. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery with his wife Betty.
