Obituary of Christine Scott

SCOTT, Christine Peacefully in hospital, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, July 20th, 2010. Christine Hartle Scott of Renfrew at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late William Marchington and the late Nellie Grant Smith. Beloved wife of the late Russell Scott (1995). Dearly loved mother of Bob Scott (Debbie Shorten) of Fredericton, N.B. and Susan Bruemmer (George) of Renfrew. Loved grandmother of Andrew, Jennifer, Matthew, Crystal and Robert. Predeceased by brothers: James and John Marchington. Chris lived in London, Ontario for almost 50 years. She first lived on Iroquois Avenue where she raised her family. She had great neighbours; a member of St. James Parish and the Ladies' Auxiliary. She moved to Cherryhill in the late seventies and lived there before moving to Grandwood Park in 2005. She was an avid bridge player; loved to swim and read. She eventually moved to the Arnprior Villa and spent the last 2 years of her life close to her daughter's family. A memorial service will be held at the Tadoussac Protestant Chapel on Saturday afternoon, August 7th at 4:30. followed by interment with her family and husband in the Port Dover Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
