Obituary of Marion Poole

POOLE, Marion Peacefully in hospital, Arnprior in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010. Marion Isabel Poole of Arnprior at the age of 93 years. Dear daughter of the late Dawson Slater and the late Helena May Wolfe. Beloved wife of the late Mack Poole (May 13th, 2007). Predeceased by her only son, Phil Poole (September 23rd, 1996). Loved mother-in-law of Sheilagh Poole of Arnprior. Cherished and proud "Nanny" of Kim Edge (Bill) and Shauna Lafrance (David) and "Great-Nanny" of Brendan, Kaitlynn, Nicholas, Jacob and Andrew. Dear sister of Orville Slater of Renfrew and Eleanor Mosley of Oshawa. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Gerald and Mel Slater as well as 3 sisters: Peg Grundy, Lois Cole and Frances Williams. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Thursday morning, August 5th from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation will follow with interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation to the Arnprior Hospital "Palliative Care Unit" would be appreciated by the Poole family.
