Obituary of Murial Cornell

CORNELL, Muriel Peacefully in hospital, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, August 10th, 2010. Muriel Georgia Cornell at the age of 98 years. Dear daughter of the late Milton Durant and the late Ada Bell Barkley. Beloved wife of the late Ron Cornell (1996). Dearly loved mother of David (Colette Lavallée) and Judy Bunger, both of White Lake and Janet Cummings (John) of Arnprior. Proud grandmother of Christine Cornell (Kevin Tutt), Andrew Cornell (Michelle Ballow), Shawn Bunger (Michelle Haase), Kimberly Bunger (Ken Barton), Janice Bunger (James Barton), Matthew Cummings (Sarah) and Garfield Cummings as well as 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a brother, Mason Durant (Beulah) and a sister, Audrey Ducolon, both of Winchester. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Saturday, August 21st from 11:30 a.m. until 1o'clock at which time a Service to celebrate the life of Muriel Cornell will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel. A reception will follow. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery, Pakenham at a later date. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by the Cornell families.
