Obituary of Orien Dontigny

DONTIGNY, Orien Suddenly at Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew on Thursday morning, November 11th, 2010. Orien Mary Dontigny of Arnprior at the age of 88 years. Dear daughter of the late Ferdinand Lapierre Sr. and the late Claire Boutin. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Dontigny. Dearly loved mother of Brian (and his wife Sherrie) of Arnprior. Cherished grandmother of Steven Dontigny. Loved sister of Alice Craig (late Dr. Jack L. Craig) of Arnprior and Shirley Pierce (Ted) of Scarborough. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Alfred (late Betty), George (Joan of Arnprior) and Arnold Lapierre as well as 3 sisters: Marguerite Lapierre, Ollie Guindon (late Leo) and Viola McManus (late Des). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 7:45 a.m. Saturday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday morning, November 13th at 9 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Orien, a donation made to the "Raise the Roof" campaign of St. John Chrysostom Church would be appreciated by her family.
