Obituary of Denis Desjardins

DESJARDINS, Denis Peacefully in hospital, Arnprior while surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday afternoon, November 24th, 2010. Denis Desjardins of Arnprior at the age of 71 years. Dear son of the late Laurier and Colombe Desjardins. Beloved husband of Maxine Desjardins (nee Thomlison). Loved father of Todd (Karen) Desjardins of Braeside and Cory (Lisa) Desjardins of Arnprior. Proud grandfather of Matthew, Cameron and Cole. Also survived by his sisters Irene (Bill) Smith and Dorcas (Allan) Morphy; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Thomlison (late Ivan) as well as his brother-in-law, Gary Thomlison (Denise), all of Arnprior. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again after 11 a.m. Saturday. A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday afternoon, November 27th at 1 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. Richard Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. For those wishing, a donation made to the Braeside United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the Desjardins family.
