Obituary of Gregory Carty

CARTY, Gregory Suddenly at the Arnprior Hospital while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday morning, November 30th, 2010. Gregory John Carty of Fitzroy Harbour at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Villeneuve), March 30, 2009. Dearly loved father of Linda Hopkin (Neil) of Surrey, B.C, Jack of Ottawa, Michael of Richmond, B.C., Debbie Lunney (Jim) of Fitzroy Harbour, Pat (Carolyn) of Luskville, Que. and Cindy McKay (Terry) of Bristol Que. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Dear brother of Elizabeth Perreault (late Mervin). Predeceased by his brother, Bill (late Eva) and sisters; Peggy Gates (Oliver of Fournier) and Kay Berrigan (late Charles). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Greg is reunited once again with his best friend, Jerry Ovington (August 24, 2010). A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church, Fitzroy Harbour on Monday morning, December 6th at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.
