I miss already uncle Paul. I wish I could have known you better. I know your probably better off up there. I promise I`m going to keep on doing my art, because I know how much it means to you. ``you never know where inspiration will strike you. It could be a landscape, a thought or even a verse in a poem or a life experience, if you don`t record it in this book, you could loose it``, you wrote this to me about two years ago, your passing away has gave me inspiration and I`m never going to loose it. I miss you a lot, and I wish you had not gone so unexpectedly, and soon. ``Only the good die young`` , I know that`s true in this case. I love you so much, I`ll see you someday again.

How many times did we block the aisles in GT catching up on each others lives. At the front door of GT on Christmas eve we had our latest and last gab session. Paul was telling me of his recent hospital trips and how he was planning on going to visit his grandmother. While chatting away we were joined by my daughter and then some of her children that he had not met. Paul finally got to put the faces to the names as he was introduced. Paul could always bring his family into conversations; poke a comical jab at his medical conditions; speak his mind and draw/paint what we could only see in our heads. To Scott and family I send my condolences. Paul has left you with memories of that jovial grin and artistic works that you can reach out and touch the same spots he has touched. What a legacy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just saw Paul Christmas Eve at Giant Tiger doing our last minute shopping. We chatted for only a few minutes and now I wish we had chatted longer. It was funny because we ran into each other the same place and same time last year but we talked for at least an hour then. It sounded like he'd been through so much recently but this is a shock. He still seemed so determined and strong but that is how I always remembered him: Funny, stubborn, sarcastic, artistic, determined to do it on his terms and a good man. I am sad to hear he has passed. I have many fond memories of you all; I can't imagine your heartache. You are in my prayers.

A loving and gentle man a true friend to those that knew him. A angel loaned him to us and we thank that angel. Sleep gently my friend and may angels watch over you.

I met Paul shortly after moving to Anrprior, he was a very honest and upfront guy you always knew where you stood with him. Of course a very talented and intellectual person, willing to share his passion for life. I will miss him very much, as well as our coffee chats.

I only knew Paul through Dave; however will treasure the time I met him and his wonderful works of art. If they weren't packed, I'd put up pictures! My favorite is a black and white drawing of a squirrel in a tree - the squirrel is so life-like, it makes me smile every time I pass by the picture or think of it.
Sincere condolences to Paul's family and friends. He is at peace now, joining others in sharing stories and watching over those of us left on earth.

I often think of Paul, especially our Apartment on Elgin Street, I had just gotten divorced and was having a rough time, Paul would poke prod and act a total clown just to make me laugh and cheer me up. He was everything a Good friend should be. I know it will get better but knowing I won't hear him curling up in a ball and making baby voices of Hey I'm Dave I am such a baby.. always got me laughing.. swift journey my friend let me know when you get there..
