Obituary of Margaret Teevens

TEEVENS, Margaret Mary (Nee Nugent) 1912—2011 In hospital, Arnprior early Sunday morning, January 23rd, 2011. Marg Teevens of Arnprior at the age of 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Gervase Teevens (April 7, 1984). Treasured mother of Helen Vincent (Ron) of Renfrew and John Teevens of Arnprior. Cherished and proud grandmother of Peter (Lisa), David and Erin Vincent. Doting great-grandmother of Phillip and William Vincent. Predeceased by 4 brothers: Frank (late Fran); Wilfred (Maryalice of Ottawa); Burke (late Florence) and John (late Rita). Also survived by sisters-in-law Loreen Teevens of Ottawa, Marie Murphy of Kelowna, B.C. and Gwen Sullivan of Fresno, California as well as several special nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday morning, January 26th at 11 o'clock. Spring interment St. Peter Celestine Parish Cemetery, Indian Hill Road, Pakenham. In memory of Marg, a donation made to the "Raise the Roof" campaign of St. John Chrysostom Parish or the "Palliative Care Unit" of the Arnprior Hospital would be appreciated by her family. Members of the CWL will assemble at the funeral for prayers on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
