Lois Lillian Levesque of Cobden, formerly of Arnprior, passed peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital early Tuesday morning, February 22nd, 2011 at the age of 86. She celebrated a life that was full of laughter, fun times and unconditional love. She will be missed by her loving husband Eddie who she has been married to for 65 years. Dearly loved mother of John (Deb McCrodan) of Eganville; Lloyd (Marion Clemow) of Castleford; Brian (Lee Whitmore) of Cobden/Ottawa; Ken (Val) of Arnprior and ASHe/Randy of Montreal. Lois was predeceased by her 9 brothers: Johnny, Hugh, Cecil, Bunny, Garnet, Walter, her twin Lloyd, Mac, and Howard Lyon, as well as her only sister Irene Frappier. She was a cherished and proud "Grandma" of Chris Levesque, Chantelle (Dave) Cartman, Quentin (Tricia) Levesque, Lance (Sarah) Levesque, Jennie Levesque, Stacey (Candice) Levesque and Lindsay (Bob) Firestone and affectionate "Great-Grandma" to Jondavid, Tierney, Tyson, Austin, Corisa, Jack, Lola and Ellie. Lois also had a special place in her heart for Dianne Levesque and Teri Leech. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, in Arnprior for visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 to 10:15 a.m. A Funeral service will be conducted at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Arnprior on Saturday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Milton Fraser officiating. Cremation will follow. In memory of Lois, donations made to the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Building Fund would be appreciated by her family.
