Obituary of Muriel Fraser

FRASER, Muriel Charlotte (May 28, 1914 - March 4, 2011) Peacefully at home with loved ones by her side on Friday morning, March 4, 2011. Muriel Charlotte Fraser of R.R.# 1, Arnprior in her 97th year. Devoted wife of the late Alex D. Fraser (Feb., 1983); formerly of Springtown. Special Mom of Durrell Stubinsky, Roberta "Bobbie" Thompson (David), both of Arnprior; Morley "Sandy" Fraser (Bonnie Dodd) of Carleton Place; Wally Fraser (Marsha Hoad) of Cold Lake, Alberta and the late James Fraser (Sept. 1959). Predeceased by twin sisters: Grace Barr (late Robert) and Patricia Kerr (late Allen) and brothers: Walter Brydges (late Joyce), Sydney Brydges (Helen) and Boyd Brydges (late Velva). Survived by sisters-in-law Isabel Mulvihill and Hazel Fraser; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 grandsons and 1 great-grandson. Muriel was the eldest child of Agnes Warren and Robert Brydges, formerly of Ashdad, Ontario. A private visitation for immediate and extended family will take place at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday morning, March 11th, 2011. A Service will follow in the Pilon Family Chapel. Spring interment Fraser Cemetery, Springtown. In memory of Muriel, a donation made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or St. Andrew's United Church, White Lake would be appreciated.
