Obituary of Robert Russett

RUSSETT, Robert "Bobby" (Lifelong Farmer) Suddenly but peacefully in his barn on Sunday morning, April 10th, 2011. Robert Stewart "Bobby" Russett of Logger's Way at the age of 72 years. Dear son of the late Robert James Russett and the late Dorothy Mary Neumann. Beloved husband of the late Antje "Annie" Bron (December 6, 1999). Dear father of Sybrand Russett (Chrystal) of White Lake and Dorothy Dubois (Glen) of Dacre and grandfather of Stacey Marie Dubois. Dearly loved brother of Jean Levi (late Wayne) of Arnprior; Iris Brown (late J.R.) of Renfrew; Bryon (Dorothy) of Arnprior; Edith McElroy (Winston) of Gatineau and James (Rosalie) of Braeside. Predeceased by a brother, Norman. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Robert's integrity, his quiet and gentle manner and his unwavering commitment to agriculture and respect for the land will be remembered by his many friends and acquaintances. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. A Service to celebrate Robert's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning, April 14th at 11 o'clock. Rev. Andrew Love of Grace St. Andrew's United Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory of Robert, a donation to CHEO would be appreciated by his family.
