McCANN, Sybil Peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior on Monday afternoon, April 11th, 2011. Sybil McCann of Arnprior at the age of 90 years. Dear daughter of the late George B. Smith and the late Ethel Neill. Beloved wife of the late Harry McCann (August 26, 1983). Dearly loved mother of Garry of Arnprior; Jim (Nan) of St. Mary's, Ontario and Mary Pulcine (Gerry) of Arnprior. Predeceased by a daughter, Maureen Whalen. Mother-in-law of Gail McCann of Ottawa and Gerry Whalen of Arnprior. Sybil was predeceased by her 2 brothers: Harvey and Clifford Smith and her only sister, Jessie Smith. Special sister-in-law of Barbara Smith (Dave Turley). Cherished "Nanny" of the late John Pulcine (Joanne), Kathleen, Matthew, Mary, Patrick and Catherine Whalen, Sean and Allison McCann, Jason and Shelley Reid (Mark), Anne Biddiscombe (Perry) and "Nana" of Amanda, Ashley, Brittney, Isobel, Carter and Jayla. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:45 a.m. Friday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning, April 15th at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Sybil, a donation made to The Grove Nursing Home would be appreciated by her family.
