Obituary of Bruce Schnob

SCHNOB, Bruce (Sandvik Steel, Arnprior) At the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital after saying farewell to those closest to him and while surrounded by their love on Friday afternoon, April 29th, 2011. Bruce Micheal Schnob of Arnprior at the age of 56 years. Dear son of Rolland and Colleen (Nee Pecaskie) Schnob of Arnprior. Beloved husband and best friend of Monica (Nee Koch). Dearly loved father of Wes (Lana), Nadine (Kevin Geddes), Katelyn and Emily Schnob, all of Arnprior. Loved and proud "Grampa" of Paige, Karley and Alex. Dear brother of Dale Baskin (Leonard) of Arnprior. Bruce was predeceased by his brother, Bobby in 1997. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Kim Blackburn (and her husband, O.J.) Bruce was always so proud of his racing team "Summer of '69" with whom he and Monica spent countless hours at the Luskville Drag Strip. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday afternoon, May 4th at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory of Bruce, a donation to the Arnprior Food Bank would be most appreciated by his family.
