Obituary of Bob Stebbing

STEBBING, Robert "Bob" (Veteran WW II) At the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Friday afternoon, May 20th, 2011. Clare Merton "Bob" Stebbing of Braeside at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Edward Merton Stebbing and the late Rachel "Toni" Molyneaux Meade. Special friend of Ann Luker (formerly Gabriel) of Braeside and her son Luke Gabriel of Edmonton. Dear father of Ted Laitila (Gina) of Walkerton and step-father of Cheryl MacDonald (Steve Telford) of Almonte. Dear brother of Peter Stebbing (Sue) of Bournemouth, England. Cherished and proud grandfather of Selene Wood, Tracie Rider (John), Martin and Chad Grant and great-greanfather of Justin, Joshua, Ryan, Tyler, Taylor, MacKenzie and Cassandra. Will be remembered by his former spouse, Marilyn Bowie. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Service in celebration of Bob's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Wednesday morning, May 27th at 11 o'clock. Rev. Dr. Richard Hollingsworth officiating. In memory of Bob, a donation to the Braeside United Church would be appreciated by his family.
