When I was growing up in Pakenham, my mother Shirley Campbell was good friends with Lil, Donna Pearce & Irene Pearce. They went on a road trip or two to Huntsville. Anyway, one of my memories of Lil was everytime we would go to the butcher shop, Lil would always hand each of us kids a weiner. To this day, I still like to eat raw weiners, thanks for that memory Lil. We moved from Pakenham in 1969 and now my mother and I live in Armstrong B.C. We would like to send our deepest condolences to the Scheel family.

My sympathies extend to the Scheel family at the passing of Lil. She will be greatly missed by all of you. I have a great many memories of her from my years growing up in Pakenham with my family, Irene and Charlie Campbell. I could always drop in and chat for a few minutes on the way home from school or pick up an order for my Grandparents next door (Rose and Frank Singard).
