PARSONS, Robert A. "Bob" (Korean War Veteran) RCN (Retired) CD, CET (Retired SPAR Aerospace) Peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Saturday morning, July 2nd, 2011. Robert Alan Parsons of Arnprior at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband for over 56 years of Dolores (nee Schaeffer). Dearly loved father of Dorothy Smith (David) of Victoria, B.C.; Lance Parsons of Belleville and Leanne Roth (Blaine) of Orillia. Cherished and proud "Granddad" of Sean, Nicole, Aaron, Joshua, Liam and Cameron and "Great-Granddad" of Taylor and Maya. Dear brother of Shirley Jones (Dick) of Earlton and Lorna Thomas (Ed) of Calgary. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Thursday morning, July 7th from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service including Legion Tribute will follow in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock. Rev. Leo Hughes officiating. A reception in Bob's honour will take place at the Canadian Legion Branch 174, Arnprior immediately after the service. In memory of Bob, a donation made to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated by his family.
