My heart aches for all the family in the loss of such a wonderful woman who is gone and in the arms of Jesus. I heard a story once about how our lives are like tapestries and we are all connected. They have different woven patterns, the different colors that all gather together and in the end, form a picture of our lives. My name is Pamela and unfortunately I never had the opportunity to meet my soul sisters “ Minnie Moo”. However, this past Monday, I had the wonderful chance to listen to stories about Minerva, her life and the amazing qualities she possessed. What a grand woman she was! Through all her struggles and the crosses that she bore, she did everything with dignity, pride and complete unselfishness. I feel that I owe her a great thank you. She raised an equally amazing daughter named Ruth, who in turn, gave me one of the greatest blessings in my life- my best friend Jodie Brown. There is no doubt in my mind or heart that Jodie also possesses those great attributes that her loving Granny had. She was obviously a huge influence in Jodie’s life. I don’t have words truthfully to express to you all in your time of losing or missing this wonderful woman, but I do want to say that I am thankful from the depths of my heart and soul that our tapestries met together. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Pamela Hisko
