Obituary of James McEwen

McEWEN, James "Jim" Peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior on Friday afternoon, August 26th, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Dear son of the late Charlie McEwen and Ethel Barrie. Beloved husband for 55 years of Marjorie (nee Carswell). Dear brother of Wanda Shaw of Renfrew. Predeceased by his brothers; Mel (Morna of RR#3, Arnprior), Willis, Bernard and Wellington and his sisters; Roxy Baker, Greta Stewart, Waveney Campbell and Lois Marshall. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and again Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel, Arnprior on Thursday morning, September 1st at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow. Private interment White Lake Cemetery. In memory of Jim, a donation to the Arnprior Humane Society or the Parkinson's Society of Ottawa Carleton would be appreciated.
