Dear family and friends of beloved Grace,
I have been thinking of all of you all week long and holding you close to my heart and in my prayers. I had the honour of working with Grace for the first time on December 9th at our 11:30 am-2:30 pm Students Accessibility Services (SAS) Proctor exam shift in Rozanski Hall at the University of Guelph. I also got to see her one last time last Saturday morning at the start of our morning shift. It was one of the best shifts I had ever had. I felt like I had met a real life angel. Her beautiful and glowing presence and kindness will always be remembered by me. I learned so much about her and your family while we chatted on the way back to return the exams. I will always remember her words and how very special she had made me feel. I was truly touched by an angel. I shall pass on her love for life, kindness and unforgettable light, by continuing to do good deeds in her memory. I send you all my love and strength during this difficult time.

I remember Grace's father's family from Barry's bay. Gerard's dad in grade school was my principal and his mom was my 6th grade teacher. My husband and I had moved to Arnprior to start our family and we had the privilege to touch base with Gerard's family again. Grace, his daughter was one grade above my twins Brianna and Matthew. She was always a caring and helpful student with all the lower grades. My children especially remember her in their Catholic Youth group she also attended. All our prayers and best thoughts go out to Gerard, Nancy and family at this time. You truly raised an angel.

I knew Grace from my second year university through to graduation of my undergrad. She was in my program, a leader on various committees, always organizing an amazing event, and I played with her on our intramural hockey team. She was an amazing person with a giant heart, contagious smile and dedication and determination that would bring out the best in herself and everyone around her. I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the news of her passing but will always celebrate the life that she lead and the joy she brought everyone else. So today I am going to let her smile shine through me, I will help someone and think of Grace, I will work my butt off and finish something I've been procrastinating for a while, and when I get home, I will play a round of golf at her club and laugh at the fact that my shot will be in the trees while hers would be down the middle of the fairway. She will live on in my memories and through all of the people who had the pleasure of spending time with her. I thank you Grace for everything you taught me, the values you unknowingly instilled in everyone, the way you could cheer anyone up regardless of the situation (we could use that now) and I make a promise to you to continue to let those qualities shine. You will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Glofcheskie family.
I had the pleasure of playing alongside Grace for 3 years on the Guelph Gryphons Golf Team. During that time I was lucky to be able to get to know Grace. She was a tireless worker both on and off the course: a great competitor, yet humble and approachable. Grace was also in the same undergraduate program as I was, although a year behind me. I enjoyed sharing with her my experiences and lendIng a hand in some of the classes she would end up taking.
Exceptionally intelligent, kind, beautiful and creative, Grace lit up not only the room, but the friends and family who surrounded her. Grace was the kind of person you knew would have a positive impact on her community, country and the world. Grace is an inspirational woman and I hope her actions and accomplishments will inspire others to follow in her footsteps.

I met Grace when I played golf for the Carleton Ravens. We didn't actually get to play in a group together but I did have the opportunity to meet her and chat at tournaments. Everyone always speaking so highly of Grace. She was always so positive and friendly at tournaments. She always had a big circle of friends around. Grace was such a great member of the golf community and she will be greatly missed.

I have never had the opportunity to meet any of you except for Luke, but I have heard nothing but best things about each one of you from him. Even though I did not know this beautiful young lady, my heart goes out to her family and friends. I was so saddened to hear of Grace's passing. I drive by the location everyday to go back and forth to my job and every time I see the memorials I want to cry. I went to school with Grace from grades 7-12. We spent a lot of time laughing hysterically together within our group of friends, especially in grade 8. Her laughter was always something I remembered, as it was the best and most genuinely beautiful laugh I'd ever heard! She was beautiful, vibrant, and caring (to name a few). After high school years we lost touch but I always followed her on Facebook and recently saw her posts about her Masters- it didn't surprise me because I always knew Grace would be incredibly successful at whatever she chose to do! We had many great debates in English class in high school about what Shakespeare was actually talking about...she was always fun to argue with! To her parents, brothers and sister, I wish you the utmost strength during this incredibly difficult time. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of knowing Grace through our mutual involvement in CBS clubs and intramural sports. She was a kind, positive young woman who was a true leader in her community. Gerry & Nancy, Adam, Luc & Rachel: So very deeply sorry for the senseless and tragic loss of your beautiful daughter and sister. It seems everyone that knew Grace, have very fond memories of her. I knew her when she played hockey with my son. Initially my son didn't know what to think about "a girl" on his all boys team, but when they were put on the same line, Grace immediately had his respect and admiration for her talent as well as for the kind, thoughtful, happy, smiling girl that she was. I can't begin to imagine the pain her family is in, but sincerely hope and pray you all find the strength to cope with your heartbreaking loss.

Despite only a short time on this earth Grace made a profound mark, leaving behind a remarkable legacy. As a young child at play in her Grandma’s backyard I remember asking her what her name was. She replied with a shy smile and that tussle of blonde hair, ‘I am Grace’. Indeed she is – an Amazing Grace to all who had the great privilege to know and love her.

Grace had a beautiful, kind spirit that will live on in everyone with whom she came into contact. I didn't know her well in high school but got to know more about her through her mom, Nancy, when I worked with her at metro.
