To Betty abd your loved one From Norma and Mary Evelyn,we pass on our heartfelt condolences over the death of Norman. He has left you with a most precious gift of warm, loving and happy memories. These can be carried down through the generations by sharing them through stories, photos . My mind went back to a memory that took place on Golden Ave in my time at Teacher's College (1954).All you kids were very young.Betty you invited me to go for supper with you on a Friday.By hometime,it was storming very hard You said to stay and I did.Next day it still snowed and kept on snowing. What I do remember are enjoyable memories I carried with me.Also,I did go home when the snow finally stopped and the streets were cleared!!! Norma and I talked about how Norm's quiet friendly smile always made us feel loved and special whenever we met, whether it be at a family gathering ,in the community or No Frills. Norm may started out as an "in-law" but he became a full fledged member in the Bennett family, greatly loved and respected. We all will miss him. Love from Norma Ray and Family, from Mary Evelyn Bob and family

Heartfelt condolescences to Betty and family of Norm. I first met Norm during the Royal Visit of 1959 and worked with him over the years at CBC. Subsequently, we worked together in the same department at Head Office where we shared many familial stories over a cup of coffee. Norm was a true professional and it was a pleasure to know him. With Sincere sympathy, Jim Landsburg

I was very sad to hear of Norm's death. On behalf of our CBC Pensioners National Association I would like to pass on our sincere condolences to his family. Norm always worked very hard for his fellow CBC pensioners. He was one of the founding executives of our early association. He continued to be involved in a less formal manner after we formed the present Association and it was our honour to have presented Norm with our highest award, a Life Membership, as a tribute to the deep respect we held him in. Sincerely, Don Waterston National President, The CBC Pensioners National Association

to Betty and the Moore family. I am in Whitecourt, Alberta with my daughter's family and will be unable to attend the funeral. Don just called from Campbellford to apprise me of the situation. He has several medical tests on Monday, and remains weak from his Chemo cancer treatments and will not be able to attend either. I understand Bob and Ann are currently attempting to make arrangements to attend, We will either send a floral arrangement or make a contribution to the Arnprior Hospital in memory of Norm. Having just lost Joan this past August I have great empathy for you and your family. You have my heartfelt sympathy, and I pray your family support will make your loss more bearable. Comfort and Love to you all, Paul Bennett

To the Moore family: Very sad to hear of Norm's passing. We were the pioneers at CBOT back in 1954, he was technical producer and I was the producer. We televised the first program from Ottawa to the Network on July 1st with a new PYE mobile unit and in January, 1955, the first ever Opening of Parliament. Norm was a good friend and technician and we all needed each others help in those early days. Norm and I worked many shows over the years and I remember many of them. I retired after 32 years and, unfortunately did not see many "old" CBOTers unless they came to our pensioners get togethers a few times a year. Again, my sincere sympathies and Jackie, my wife and my former script-assistant for many years and a friend of Norm's also wishes to be remembered. Kind personal regards, Pierre and Jackie Normandin
