Our heart and prayers go out to the Taylor family. I have been fortunate to have been told many warm stories of Mr. Taylor through Maureen. He sounded like the type of man my grandfather was whom I loved and respected immensely. I know that your father will be missed greatly but I have learned that to keep and share the memories will let him live in your hearts forever. God Bless.

Maureen and Family, Everyone at the office has been saddened by your loss. Although most of us did not have the priveledge to meet your father I believe we all enjoy many of his fine qualities through our relationship with you. Many of us knew how deeply you loved your father, and a few of us understood the special relationship that you had with him. We hope that time will heal the pain of this loss, but that your memory of him will remain ever clear. Your friends and "family" at work

Mrs. Taylor and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Taylor's passing away. I very much enjoyed the talks we had over the many years while seeing you both at the A@P.He always had time for a quick chat and was caring enough to always ask how my family was. That meant alot to me. I am unable to make it to the visitation but just know I will always remember his kindness and my heartfelt thoughts are with you all.Mr. Taylor was a wonderful person and I could always tell he was very proud of all of his children. Sincerely Sue Johnson

Taylor Kennedy posted a condolence

Dear Arvella and Family My name is Taylor Kennedy, named after my grandmother Mary (Taylor) Kennedy who was Jack's aunt. She was the daughter of Mary Macklin and William Albert Taylor. My Aunt Rita will be attending the viewing, my uncle William "Corky" Kennedy died in 2000. My sincere condolences to all for your loss. I wish I knew more about the Taylor side of the family, but my father died when I was 17 and had nobody to follow up with. It is sad for me as I never met Jack, but reading the other condolences on-line, he must have been one outstanding individual. May the Lord be with you all during this time of bereavement. God Bless Taylor Kennedy

The Carnegie's are all so so sad to hear about Mr. Taylor's passing. I will always remember Anne and Maureen slipping over to our house, especially when there were chores to be done, only to have Mr. Taylor call over to send them home. I also remember Rhonda and I going over to visit when she was really small. She was always so shy to talk to him. It was so appropriate that she had him speak at her wedding so many years later. His "wee Rhondie". We'll miss him and God bless him. The Carnegie family is there for you all if you need anything at anytime...just call.

Uncle Jack had the "fire", that sparkle in his eye that illuminated both his warmth and his tremendous strength of character. Over the years it became very clear to me that he was a humble, proud, and passionate man. He would always look you straight in the eye when he shook your hand (a firm handshake at that!) and greeted you warmly. He taught all of his children well the lessons he learned in his life. Respect, pride, disipline, warmth of character. All of the Taylor children relfect many of Jack's great qualities. I think my fondest memory of Jack was when my brother and I called him and Aunt Arvella to announce the birth of our first borns. My brother Dave and I had our first children 60 hours apart, needless to say we were very excited and wanted to share the news with all those near and dear to us, Jack and Arvella were at the top of the list. It's entirely possible that the phone call was made after a few beverages and it was probably past Jack's bedtime, nonetheless he graciously rec'd our call and offered warm congratulations and even listened patiently to Aunt Arvella's " God love ems " and "little angels" commentaries. It was important that we called that night, that's how much he meant to us, we wanted to share our excitement. Jack you will be dearly missed but the fond memories will live on forever. God Bless.
