Dear Dianne, Steve and Rob and family
We were sorry to learn of the passing of your dear husband and father Rick. He had a wonderful sense of humour which we all appreciated and his kindness to all people was stellar. We have great memories of our time on the Townline with you folks and missed you very much once you move to the Ottawa Valley Area. But we know being close to family was a dream for Rob and you made it come true by moving up his way and besides you got to not only see the grandchildren on a regular basis but be a big part of their lives as I am sure you mentored them as you did all children who came in contact with you be it neighbor children like ours of your own children. You just had a great way of imparting wisdom to the young and a fantastic encourager.
I know this will be a very difficult time for you but knowing that friends are grieving with you and keeping you in their prayers that the good Lord will continue to hold you in the Palm of HIS Hands and give your peace that only our Heavenly Father can give. We will all miss Rick, but knowing that we will all meet again on that heavenly shore makes this time of separation easier to deal with. Remember although Rick is not here physically, he is still walking with you within your heart and he is watching and waiting for the time when God will call you home too. So, be strong in your faith journey and know that there is a day of rejoicing coming when we will all be reunited again.
