Dear Kuehn family. It was with sadness I read of Alfried's passing. Enjoyed very much a visit with your Dad at the Lombardy Lodge Dec 20/02. Met your Dad probably first at Rudolph and Ruth Jaekel's just west of Pembroke during the winter of 1955-56, always had great respect for both your parents. My parents sister Irene and I had some happy times with the Kuehn family. Alfried enjoyed a longer life than most and brings to an end special era. Love and best wishes Rolly and Pearl.

Dear Kuehn Family: We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I (Andrew) have many fond memories of visits to Mr. & Mrs. Kuehn's home for a swim and a meal, and always appreciated how I was treated just like a member of the family. May you take comfort in the fact that your father is freed from his physical challenges of the last several years, and has joined your mother to spend eternity with their Lord and Saviour. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Sheila & Andrew

Dear cousins, it is with deep regret that we have heard that our uncle was called home to meet our Lord and Saviour. We know that he has gone home and that Heaven is a real good place especially as your father hopes to meet his beloved Ruthl. Nevertheless it is sad news, we already feel the loss. Speaking to him on the phone meant a lot to us all. He was always lively, positive thinking, grateful, friendly, interested in others, caring, warm-hearted - a very special person, a patriarch of his family and constantly conscious of belonging to God's family. Right now we feel very close to you all, Ursula and family from Hamburg
