Doug and families, I was shocked to learn of Mike's passing when I got back to the grove after the lockout.
My sincere condolences to the entire family. Mike was always so pleasant.

Most knew him as Mike but us lucky ones knew him as Killer. A character to say the least and a friend who will always spark a memory. Had lots of memorable moments to say the least and laughs galore. My heart goes to those close to Mike and also to those who didn’t know him as it is those who missed out the most. Never stuck for a word and shared many a laugh. Take care old friend and say Hi to some there you will meet !

Doug, I am so sorry to hear about the death of your brother. While I have lost my parents and grieved that loss, I cannot imagine the pain of losing a sibling. My heart goes out to you. It sounds like he had wonderful care at the Grove Nursing Home and that's important. I will send a donation to their redevelopment fund as suggested in Mike's obituary. I know that Caryn and your kids will be a tremendous support to you at this time, as well as the rest of your family. I will be thinking of you as you go through the next few days.

To the family....my sincerest condolences for your loss. It has been many years since seeing Michael as we were childhood friends and schoolmates and lived only about a block apartba k then.
