Kim, Robert, and family, so sorry to hear about your loss. Bev was such a sweet person, always smiling and making you laugh. Being around her made me homesick for Ottawa and my own family. I wish I could be there in person, but please know that my thoughts are with you. All the best, Travis.

I wish to extend my sympathies to the family in the loss of mother, husband and friend to many. I worked with Bev for several years at Sandvik and camped with Bob, Kim and her at Lascalle Campgrounds in Golden Lake. I always ran into her at the Pakenham Fair when we went on a yearly basis. The last time I saw her we were laughing at old times at Sandvik. That's what I liked about Bev the most, her love of life. So through your grieving process, remember that contagious smile of hers that cheered you up no matter what and know that where ever she is, she will be watching over us all and savour your wonderful memories of her.

I cannot remember a time when Bev didn't have a friendly smile or a kind word for all those she was in contact with. We hope that you find peace in all the happy memories that you have of Bev. Please now that even though she has left you so suddenly, her love and kindness is with you always and will help you all find peace. Love, Karen, Jeff, Matthew and Katelyn Copp

Kim,Robert,Art and Rita.... Tom and I just left for Florida Fri Feb 17, when we called home on Feb 18, Shawn and Wanda gave us the sadden news. My first thought was that Bev took the attack in a place she love to be, that she was surrounded with love, laughter, and all those little smiles and hugs the children provided to her every day. She new each and every child that entered the Daycare as if they were her own flesh and blood. The comfort she provided to the children and their parents, enhanced with her caring words, loving smile and infectious laugh was a cherished feeling to start their day. Our love and hugs we send your way, Bev will always be in our hearts and minds forever. Andrew said Bev's heart was broken and that she went to heaven, probably making cookies for everyone there to enjoy. Find Peace and Joy in your hearts for the love and memories that are within in all of you. She is an angel looking over Pakenham.

Our deepest sympathy to your family. Bev was always nice to Matthew, our 16 month old who goes to Linda Lowe's and always made me feel that she thought he was special, which meant a lot to me as a new mother just putting Matthew into daycare. We will miss her greatly. Our prayers will be with you in this time of loss.

Art and Kim, our sympathy goes out to you both. Bev was such a warm, loving person who was always smiling and always had her hands and heart open to help whenever and whoever was in need. I know that at this time there are few words that will make you feel better, but remembering the good times does help a little. And you both have lots of those. One of my fondest memories of Bev was when she and you Kim offered to look after Joanna and Wesley for me while Andrew was at Jane Brennan's birthday party. I don't think they were two yet and Bev sang to them all the way back to our place from Pakenham so they wouldn't go to sleep and I could put them down for their nap when she brought them home. She laughed and said she was hoarse from her loud singing. She was also the only one who was brave enough to look after Andrew when he came home from the hospital after his transplant. She came and stayed with all three of the kids one evening so Greg and I could go to the Renfrew fair. Art and Kim, she was a great friend to us and we will miss her. Sincerely, Kristie, Greg, Andrew, Joanna and Wesley Stewart

Hi Art and Kim We can't stop thinking about you guys and wanting to give you lots of hugs. I just wanted to let you both know how much Bev was a part of our lives and how very much you guys were on a daily basis. Everyday when I would drop Corlen off we would chat about were both of you were and how Kim was really enjoying Hong Kong(not):)and where Art was that day on the road or at home. This morning was a lot different. It almost seemed like Corlen was waiting for Bev's voice to say good morning handsome. I know you are hearing wonderful things about Bev and we could really go on forever because she was truly amazing. Even though I have really only known you guys for about nine years you all have made me feel like family. It just seems to be your way of doing things. She seemed to be mother to all. I heard the Brad Paisley song "when I get to where I'm going" it mentioned don't cry for me down here, it made me think of Bev. She would want us just to have fun and not be sad BUT please not to shed a tear for her is just not possible. Art and Kim, we love you guys just like family and please know that you are in our hearts and thoughts always. Cory, Glenna and Corlenxxoo

Dear Art and kim I know you are probably wondering who this is from well, I am Glenna Hunt's sister Sandra. I only met you and Bev a couple of times at different functions. When I heard about this I was floored. The few times I seen Bev she had a smile on her face that would make anybody smile. The reason I am sending this is to let you know she is in my thoughts as my dear nephew "Corlen" will miss her in his own little way. My sister was so content in leaving him at the day care as Bev was there to watch over him.So my sweet nephew now has a angel with a gigantic smile!!

Art, Kim and family.... The boys and I wish to extend heartfelt sympathy to you with the news of Bev's passing. Bev was a bright light in Pakenham and touched so many lives with her beautiful personality, her constant smile and a laugh that I will never forget. Bev's protective, nurturing and caring way made her the perfect addition to the Daycare Centre and any child, touched by her gift, will be a better person as a result of her positive influence. The village of Pakenham will be a different place without Bev's presence however, I know she will be watching over us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rick, Jake and Braeden Gwalchmai
