Suddenly but very peacefully at home in Ottawa on Saturday, August 10, 2019; Algirdas Petras "Al" Jurkus passed away at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Irena Beresnevicius. Dearly loved father of Ruta Nausedas (Algis) of Toronto; Rasa Gedgaudas (Augis) of Los Angeles, California and Daiva Zaunius (Douas) of Sanata Barbara, California. Cherished grandfather of Dziugas, Gytis, Brigita, Erika, Vinentas, Simona and Kamile. Dear brother of Rimantas Jurkus (Marija) of Verdun, P.Q. A gathering to celebrate Al's life will take place in Ottawa (day, date, time and place to be announced once finalized). Al's final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
