Our deepest sympathy in the passing of Ron. Gail White, nee Mackie, a friend from happy school days in Renfrew, called to inform me of Ron's passing. We shared stories of the Renfrew days and the trips the Arnprior boys made to Renfrew to see the Renfrew girls. Our home was home to everyone, especially over the weekends. The fellows would met at our house (Clark's) to get a ride back to Arnprior. We loved the dances at Howie Harmis' Restaurant. I have many fond memories of those good times and Ron was like a brother to me. If he was in town he always stopped in to visit and we shared "what's going on". I have heard that Ron had a good life, and family that will truly miss him. We will meet again Ron, and save a dance for me....Sue Monaghan

Dear Cathy. Although we didn't know each other very well, I just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you. Gil's mother and I were just talking about the interest Ron took in the cottage area. He well deserved the title of Mayor. I hadn't realized you were Mary and Bill's daughter. Gil and I often walked as far as their cottage and always enjoyed checking out your Mother's flowers. May you feel the comfort of God's presence in these days.

Cathy, Thinking of you and your family at this sad time. Tony was dumbfounded to hear of Ron's passing only today after the arrangements had been completed. So sorry that we couldn't get to the funeral home to express our deepest sympathies to you in person. Please know that we are saying a prayer for you and your family as difficult times are sure to lie ahead. Ron was one of a kind with a heart of gold. He will surely be sadly missed by many. Be strong!
