EVANS, Joan Peacefully at home while surrounded by loved ones on Monday evening, November 21st, 2011. Dorothy Joan Evans of Arnprior; formerly of Botwood, Newfoundland at the age of 78 years. Dear daughter of the late Edgar Manuel and the late Clara Ball. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Evans. Dearly loved mother of Deborah David (Brian) and Barry Evans (Joyce), both of Arnprior; Stacy Evans (Juanita) of Northern Arm, Nfld. and Rodney Evans of Orangeville. Cherished grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 3. Also survived by 4 brothers: John, Channon, Winston and Chesley as well as 4 sisters: Viola, Ruth, Pauline and Irene. Predeceased by brothers: Wallace, Harry and Franklin and a sister, Phyllis. Funeral service will be conducted in Botwood, Newfoundland.
