Obituary of Edward Coburn

COBURN, Edward G. (Staff Inspector - Ottawa Police (rtd) 1958 - 1993) (Royal Canadian Navy 1953 - 1958) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Monday morning, May 15th, 2006. Edward George Coburn of Vydon Acres at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Rachelle. Predeceased by his first wife Shirley Corkum (1992). Loved father of Cynthia (Montgomery) and Daniel Coburn. Dear brother of Patrick Coburn and Betty Coburn Paproski. Dearly loved �Grampy� of Joy, Annie, James, Dayna and Rylan. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Claude and John �Buddy� Coburn. Ed was a member of the Mississippi Golf Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 174, Arnprior and the Chats Lake Boat Club in Arnprior. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Friday. A Service to celebrate the life of Edward Coburn will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning, May 19th at 11 o�clock. Rev. Bill Simons officiating.
