Dear Reny family, I will always remember auntie Yvette's yellow house and the fond memories there. I remember Roger calling Mom "picklepuss" and me "picklepuss #2". I remember them sitting at the kitchen table rolling their own cigarettes and me helping them put them into their containers. A fun task for me. I remember Auntie Yvette and Nana's great friendship. In more recent years, I remember the lovely wedding gift that is in my China cabinet from Auntie Yvette. Always stopping to chat in the hallway of the apartment, or in town. Memories are a great source of comfort and strength, mine are small compared to the lifetime that you have with your mother. May they comfort you and carry you throughout the rest of your life.
