It was with sorry that I read about Neil's death. I have known Neil since I moved to Renfrew in 1982 and met him through the late Bill Powell. He was a true gentleman, always helpful, and unfailingly kind. Although in recent years, we met up only by chance occasionally, he always took the time to chat and be interested in what I was doing and, in return, tell me what projects he was working on.
