Obituary of Viola Barrett

BARRETT, Viola �Vi� (Nee Thompson) Suddenly but peacefully in hospital at Ottawa on Sunday morning, September 24th, 2006. Viola Madeline �Vi� Barrett of Burnstown; formerly of Arnprior at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Guy �Bud� Barrett. Dearly loved mother of Sharon Sewter (and her husband Tom) of Arnprior and Erin Kurchina (and her husband Paul) of Calgary. Cherished �Nanny� of Jonathan Sewter (Sarah), Timothy Sewter, Paula Sewter, Braeden and Tyler Kurchina. Dear sister of John Thompson (Linda) of Arnprior, Bertha Laframboise (late Mike) of Buckingham and Shirley Goudie (late Gerry) of Ottawa. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Raymond, Clifford and Theodore Thompson as well as 2 sisters: Irene Kehoe (late Ed) and Agnes Tremblay (late Bud). Special sister-in-law of Arthur Barrett of Blind River. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, September 28th at 10:30. Cremation will follow.
