Obituary of Fern Douglas

DOUGLAS, Fern (Warrington) Peacefully and quite unexpectedly in hospital at Carleton Place on Tuesday morning, December 26th, 2006. Lillian Fern Douglas formerly of Fitzroy Harbour at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of Ivan Warrington of Carleton Place. Predeceased by her first husband, Oliver Douglas (1993). Dearly loved mother of Kevin Douglas (Janet McGrath) of Arnprior, Nora Heroux (Roger) of Orl�ans and Dale Douglas of Vancouver. Dear sister of Everton Barr (Laura) and Jean Dolan (late Herman) both of Fitzroy Harbour. Fern is survived by her foster-brother Stanley �Butch� Smith (Carrie) of Bowser, B.C. Predeceased by a brother Miller Barr (Gladys of Kinburn). Proud grandmother of Lindsay and Teresa Douglas, Mathew and Travis Wilson, Seumas and Kathleen McGrath, Kane and Kathleen Heroux. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Friday. A Service to celebrate the life of Fern Douglas will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning, December 29th at 11 o�clock. Rev. Brian Barr officiating.
