Obituary of Joan L'Abb�

L�ABBE, Joan (Former member, Arnprior Chapter of the CNIB and Seniors 707 Club, Arnprior) Peacefully in The Grove Nursing Home at Arnprior on Thursday evening, January 4th, 2007 with family by her side. Joan L�Abbe (nee Lamoureux) at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Val L�Abbe. Cherished mother of Betty Adams (late Bob) of Arnprior and Connie Halpenny (Tom) of Chilliwack B.C. Treasured grandmother of Brenda Adams (Ron Fritsch) and Tom Halpenny Jr. (Janice) and great-grandmother of Charissa and Joshua Halpenny. Predeceased by her brother Gilbert Lamoureux and three sisters: Florence Gagne, Jeanette Lamoureux and Loretta L�Abbe. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady�s Chapel of St. John�s Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday morning, January 10th at 10:30. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. Donations to The Grove Nursing Home or the CNIB would be appreciated by Joan�s family.
