Obituary of Ruth Fobert

FOBERT, Ruth (Retired owner of Giant Tiger, Arnprior) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior with family by her side on Friday afternoon, December 9th, 2011. Ruth Elizabeth Fobert (nee Cotie) of Arnprior at the age of 80 years. Dear daughter of the late Clifton "Kip" Cotie and the late Mildred "Min" Gilmette. Beloved wife and best friend of Robert "Bob" for 58 years. Dearly loved mother of Bonnie Labelle (late Denis) and Paula Beattie (Peter), all of Arnprior. Cherished grandmother of Kirk Beattie, Angela Yach (Robert), Suzan Labelle and Marc Labelle and great-grandmother of Robert Hill and Taylor Yach. Loved sister of John (Adela) of Richmond and Mike of Castleford. Predeceased by her sister, Beatrice Jocque. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A Celebration of Life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday morning, December 13th at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Ruth, a donation to Partners in Caring or The Grove Nursing Home would be appreciated by her family.
